Photocatalytic H2O2 evolution has received extensive attention as an environmentally friendly method, which is a dynamic process of formation and decomposition. At present, researches mainly focus on the formation, while decomposition rarely studied. In addition, platinum cocatalyst plays important role in enhancing photocatalytic activity, but effects valence state especially towards decomposition, not been studied detail to best our knowledge. this work, with different were deposited onto boron containing metal organic frameworks (UiO-67-B), roles Pt(0), Pt(II) Pt(IV) explored detail. New insight into the enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity over boron-doped reduced graphene oxide.

Boron-doped reduced graphene oxide (B-RGO) synthesized by a facile one-step reflux route is able to exhibit significantly higher photocatalytic activity than non-doped RGO under visible light irradiation. New insights accounting for this photocatalytic activity improvement are discussed, which is distinctly different from the case of B-RGO nanoribbons under UV light irradiation.
